Image Process Methods
ZooProcess contains four options for Image Processing Method:
1. Natural
2. Keep as Before Version 4
3. Log-gamma 2
4. Log-gamma 3
Which setting should be used? Where can we find a description of each of these options and under which circumstances are each appropriate?
Thanks - Mark Benfield

Selecting Image Process method in Zooprocess
Dear Mark,
The default image process method is "Natural". It gives you the best image quality with no modification after the normalization. The other methods are kept as options for people having used Zooprocess in the past while we processed lower quality images. These people must be able to keep the same parametres as they used before.
Regards
Marc P.
Important note: users of Hydroptic Zooscan version 2 should also keep the default median filtering implemented in the normalization process.
